export the output of an esasky session as a table or a ascii file

would it be possible to export the output of an esasky session as a table or a ascii file, in addition to the screeenshot?

Hi, thanks, now I understand a lot better. Indeed, there is an import option in APT that probably could be used to do what you suggest. That indeed a very good idea.

Hello,

if I understand correctly you can use esasky to optimize the observation strategy, playing with the number of observations to cover your source (including rotation of the field of view, multiple observations with the same instrument and combined observations).

Once you have found the optimal configuration, I wonder if it is possible to export the parameters of all the iterations done to reach that configuration.

in a format, which might be uploaded into the APT to prepare the proposal.

Hi Alessandra,

Very good suggestion: but what exactly would you like to recover at a later time with that export file?
