issue with uploading target list
An attempt to upload the target list (one-column ASCII with pulsar names from the ATNF catalog; 2000+ entries like PSR J0002+6216) does not seem to work with the following error "Upload of file ATNF_psr_names.txt failed due to [HTTP_ERROR]: Unsuccessful server response code of: 503".

Dear Oleg,
good news! The issue you reported has been solved in version 3.2, released last Friday.
Thank you very much for helping us improve ESASky!
Cheers,
Belén
Dear Oleg,
it would be useful if you could provide the actual file for us to check. If your file has tabs, for example, it will not be uploaded.
Cheers,
Belén
target list
Dear Belén,
I attach the file with the list of targets. I still get the same error "Upload of file ATNF_psr_names.txt failed due to [HTTP_ERROR]: Unsuccessful server response code of: 503". Please let me know if the issue resolves.
Oleg
Dear Oleg,
sorry to keep you waiting. We have tested your file and it seems that the problem is related to the way we do the queries to SIMBAD, which is very slow for long lists and eventually returns the error message you have seen. Our engineers are already working on a solution that will be implemented in the next release. We are also working on a feature to make it easier for users to upload external catalogues, I'll let you know when it's implemented.
I also noticed that almost 300 sources in your list are not in SIMBAD, and hence will not be resolved by ESASky either. You can solve this by uploading their coordinates instead; if you want to keep track of their names, you can type @desc@ after the coordinates, and the name or any other information you type after that will be displayed in a pop-up window. It is perfectly possible to upload a target list with a mixture of coordinates and identifiers if you want.
Here you have more information on the target list feature:
https://www.cosmos.esa.int/web/esdc/esasky-target-lists
You can see the coordinate formats allowed just by hovering with the mouse on the search field of the interface (top right corner).
Hope this is useful.
Cheers,
Belén
