ESASky Javascript API in ReactJS

Nico Vermaas 3 years ago updated by Deborah Baines 3 years ago 3

I am building a portal for ASTRON Data and I am trying to embed the ESASky Javascript API in an ReactJS application?
Has anybody ever tried that and has some examples?

Hi Debbie,
Thank you for your reply. I indeed used the API documentation.
In the meanwhile I made some progress with it and I was able to get something working in ReactJS. Some details still need to be ironed out, but I able to communicate with ESASky from within my application now.
I look forward to your e-mail

Will be answered

Dear Nico,

Many thanks for getting in contact with us. The team has experience in embedding the ESASky Javascript API in Angular and in GWT but unfortunately not yet with ReactJS, and we don't know of another team that has tried this. We will be very happy to help you, therefore we'll contact you via email for further correspondence.

In the meantime, I'm sure you've tried the examples in the ESASky API documentation?:  https://www.cosmos.esa.int/web/esdc/esasky-javascript-api

Your portal to ASTRON data sounds very exciting and thanks for considering ESASky!

Best regards,

Debbie, on behalf of the ESASky team
