Dear Fabrizio,

It is our great pleasure to announce to you that ESASky v2.0 has been released today and that it now runs on mobile devices like smartphones and tables. It is ironic to have to tell you this since YOU HAVE MADE IT yourself!!

So thanks so much and congratulations for the good work!!

Dear Peter,

I agree, his would be very cool! We've discussed similar ideas in the ESASky team and I believe Bruno is involved in a related project (?)  But specifically for ESASky, I will add your idea to our backlog.

Many thanks,

Debbie

An offspring idea from this is that it would be cool to have an interface from one of the popular starwatching apps (e.g., Stellarium or Heavens Above) so people could switch from their simualted view of stars and constellation to a subset of the sky in IR/X-rays/... Maybe this has been treated before.

Planeado

Dear Fab,

That is indeed in the mid-term plan, the first beta of which can be released not earlier than the end of the year.
